Q: How long will it take to have our design completed?
A: After we receive the survey, generally 3 weeks. Adjustments after initial sketch / design presentation may take a little longer.
Q: Is our Home Design one of a kind?
A: All of our homes are individually designed to suit your requirements so your home design will be exclusive to you!
Q: How long before building starts?
A: Once the design is finalised & Council Approvals Granted it takes approximately 4 weeks to get to site.
Q: Which way should we orientate our home?
A: We generally like to have the main living and alfresco areas facing north and east mainly to capture the northern sun and protect from the south west winds.
Q: Do you design homes with the living upstairs?
A: Yes, quite often mainly for clients who want to capitalise on their views during the day. We cater for narrow blocks as well, the greater the challenge the more we like it.
Q: What is the best form of construction?
A: You can’t beat concrete slab and brick, you may save a little with other forms but it is not worth the difference. There is the resale factor to consider as well.
Q: Can we supply our own fittings?
A: Yes you can. There may be a small saving but there are risks associated with theft and damage. If a builder supplies, they are responsible for everything.
Q: Why do you think designers are better than architects?
A: Designers have a more practical application to home design & your requirements, they are more in tune with developing trends – and remember, we don’t get paid until you are completely satisfied.
